Thomas and Friends

I received an urgent request for a Thomas and Friends cake for his son's last minute small birthday party cum family/close friends meet up. She wanted a 3d one. This is my first doing a 3d thomas train cake and I was pretty satisfied with the outcome..will need few more practice for a perfect thomas. Hope she and her son likes it. My daughter marissa was crying.. "want train..want train" when she saw the cake...so the resemblance is there :)...

p/s: I thk thomas' s face should be a little wee bit bigger :)

Black Label Wine Bottle Cake

I received this request from a repeat customer to do a wine bottle cake for her husband's birthday. She requested for Johnnie Walker Black Label (Special Edition) where the bottle is in black colour. This is a chocolate cake covered with black colour fondant. Some of the writings are printed image. The end result of the cake is as below.

Police uniform

I was recently asked whether I could decorate a Malaysian police uniform cake for a retired policeman. I had never done a shirt cake before but I have seen them around. So what I did was I applied the same principle for this uniform cake.

For this cake, I used Satin Ice rolled fondant and colors from Americolor that i just bought last week. I was really happy with how the fondant and the colours turned out. Will definitely use satin ice and americolor again.
