More cupcakes and cakes

Its been a while since I last posted at my blog..been quite busy with office work and household work since I am now officially maidless after having sent my maid back to Indonesia. I am also helping out my fren in her business venture. Her blog should be up and running soon..(will post the address later) and do visit the blog ya where she will sell hijabs (headscraves) and later clothings.

Back to my cake decoration, for the past few weeks I had the opportunity to bake and decorate some cupcakes and cakes for my existing customers...thanks to all for the support and the repeat orders. Below are some of the cuppies and cakes that I did for your viewing pleasure.

Frangipani and edible image of the couple decorated this green heart-shaped "hantaran" cake. The image of the couple was edited and merged from 2 different pictures.

Another Ben10 edible image cake but this time, pictures of the birthday boys were cut, pasted and edited into the Ben10 picture. A 2 recipe chocolate cake (2kg++) to celebrate both Aiman and Fikri's dual celebration.

I am declaring this week Ben10 week since I have received orders for six Ben10 cakes for 7 lucky boys, all to be done this week before the school ends :) All of them wanted edible image cake and I've included here, 2 of the cakes for your viewing pleasure. The design for these 2 cakes are similar in terms of colour and decoration. It's for 3 lucky boys, one for Nazif and the other one, a joint birthday between two brothers, Alif and Ammar. Another Ben10 cake

On Wednesday evening, I received a query asking whether I could bake a Ben10 Edible Image cake urgently for Friday. Usually edible image needs at least 3 days advance order since I need to edit the picture and get them printed. Luckily, God was smiling on me and I managed to get the edible image done within 1 day...phew!!! This got me thinking real hard. Since I do get quite a number of edible image cake orders, whether its a good investment to get the printer and accessories so that I can print the pictures on my own..if I do this, no more hassle of finding who can print the pictures for me and later picking them up :). I think I have to start searching for the printers etc...anybody out there can help me source it?
