SimplyDelish Chocolate Chip Cookies

I've been baking chocolate chip cookies for my family for quite some time especially for the festive season but had never offered them for sale. Recently, a good friend of mine came over for a visit and whilst we were talking about cakes and cookies, she vented that the chocolate chip cookies that she bought recently was not so good and that it was difficult to get a good one apart from Famous Amos, obviously. She then asked why was'nt my choc chip cookies being offered for sale? Hmm.. honestly, selling these cookies never crossed my mind since I was more into baking/decorating cakes. Gift cake

This is a cake that I did yesterday for a 17 year old girl. The mother did not specify any design and just wanted a nice design cake.. after some thoughts, I decided to go for a gift cake - a cake that resemble a box, wrapped with gift wrappers adorned with ribbon on top. The cake was chocolate cake decorated with chocolate fondant and pink fondant ribbon. Here's the cake.

It's been quite some time since I posted in this blog. Been busy doing this..doing that :). Anyway, just wanted to share the 3 cakes that I recently did for 2 birthday girls and one guy. The first one was a football cake for a Liverppool die hard fan. The second was a pink castle cake with glittering purple turets and the second was a buttercream deco with edible images of cartoon characters from Disney etc such as Dibo the Gift Dragon, Little Enstein etc. Below are the pics for your viewing pleasure.
